Container terminal loads are mostly cranes, which are impulse loads, with large amplitude and obvious voltage drop. Especially during the whole process, flickering and voltage collapse are very obvious. The power factor of the motor is very low during starting up. This impulse reactive power will make the grid voltage fluctuate violently, even even the users connected to the same power grid can not work normally.
The project adopts installation tuning dynamic reactive power compensation device, the compensation capacity of 900Kvar, YBYTSC using our production dynamic complement regulator zero crossing switching capacitor connected in series tuned reactor to avoid resonance, using our JKWA-12E type dynamic reactive power compensation controller in fast response load and fast wave, ensure with real-time tracking the change of load compensation.
The power factor of tuned dynamic reactive power compensator increases the power factor to more than 0.95, meets the requirements of the standard, improves the voltage of the sliding line, and ensures the reliable operation of the crane. The active power loss is reduced, and the electric energy is saved. The dynamic compensation device improves the carrying capacity of the transformer, greatly reduces the output current of the transformer, lightens the heating of the transformer and the cable, and prolongs the service life of the equipment. Parallel resonance is prevented, some harmonic pollution is reduced, voltage fluctuation and flicker are reduced, and the interference of the crane operation to other equipment is reduced.
